Spring Time = Evaluation Time

It's almost Spring!

Each school year is an experience that will never be repeated, for many of us it's an enjoyable experience 99% of the time. With this year coming into the "home stretch" we want to ensure that this year ends on a high & positive note for each and every one of our members.

March may be the start of daylight savings, and April not only brings May flowers - it marks the start of we call "Evaluation and Stress Season". Some tips to get you through this time:

Welcome to the Co-Presidents Blog

Hi Everyone,

It's been a while since Rose and I have had the opportunity to "talk" with you. As you saw in September, EACH launched a new website which gives us great flexibility to do even more for you, our member. Part of the new technology we deployed in the development of our website is the ability for us to keep a blog, and to share that blog with you.

Our blog will journal what's going on around the District, and further. So check back often to learn what's been going on...

Important Pension Changes

On June 21, 2007, the legislature voted to pass A-5005 (Roberts)/S-3004 (Scutari). This legislation makes several changes to public employee pension and health benefits plans. This new legislation codifies NJEA's agreement with the Corzine Administration that was shared with you several months ago.
